Sitrep 1. Revised timings
It is with so much sadness that I report that First Officer (S) Paul Sykes RFA Retd. (Mem 0308), crossed the bar on Saturday 6th Feb 2021 aged 66.
Paul's funeral and cremation take place on Monday 22 Feb 2021 at 13:30 at the Great Glen Crematorium (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) and will be subject to strict Covid restrictions. It is with so much sadness that I report that Second Officer (E) Derrick (Des) Towl RFA Retd., crossed the bar on Wednesday 30th January 2021 aged 76. Des was not a member of our association but was, of course, a member of our RFA family.
Des' cremation is expected to take place at the end of next week (that is week beginnning Monday 8th Feb and detals to follow). Arrangement s are being made by Arthur W Bryant Funeral Services, Bude (HERE for their webside and HERE for a map

It is with so much sadness that I report that Second Officer (Medical Ops) Ian Wattley RFA Retd., (Member 0712) crossed the bar on Wednesday 20th January 2021 aged 72.
Ian's simple cremation will take place either today 27th January or tomorrow at a crematorium near his home in County Wexford ROI, Covid restrictions will apply.
Ian's family have expressed the wish that any donations, if desired, should be made in Ian's name to the RFA Association via Paypal using Sales@rfa-association.org.uk
On behalf of the RFA Association I offer our sincere condolences to his widow Gillian and all his family.
