Dear Member,
With the current COVID 19 restrictions in place it is now apparent that the AGM and Reunion Dinner cannot take place in the normal way and is very regrettably CANCELLED.
In order to meet the Charity Commission's requirements the AGM will be achieved by electronic means. The mechanism, for which, will be advised to those who indicated they would attend in person to cast their ballots. Those who have sent their postal ballot need do nothing. The annual reports will be available on our website.
Those who indicated that they would have attended the dinner will receive a separate email.
I would like to thank all of you who donated to the Association either as a direct donation or donating their dinner booking fee. Thank you all. As you can guess raising funds this year has been less than optimal. That said, many of our Golf Tournament sponsors have made generous donations although the tournament is also cancelled. I won't pre-empt the Treasurer, but we hope to nearly break even this financial year.
On an even brighter note, I look forward to seeing many of you at the the 2021 AGM & Reunion Dinner in Portsmouth.
Best wishes and stay safe,
Ray
